1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By using Cambio you represent that you meet these requirements.
Prohibited Jurisdictions are addressed separately in Section 2 below.
2. Prohibited Jurisdictions
2.1. Cambio reserves the right to restrict or deny its services in certain countries.
2.2. Use of the Service is prohibited to citizens and residents of, and to individuals and legal entities located in: the United States of America and its territories; the United Kingdom and its Crown Dependencies; the European Union and the European Economic Area; China; Belarus; Turkey; Panama; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; any country on the United Nations Sanctions List or subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), including North Korea, Iran, Syria and Cuba; and the Russia-occupied regions of Ukraine. Additionally, any individual or entity located in these countries, regardless of their nationality or citizenship, is prohibited from using the Service. Any attempt to use the Service from a prohibited location is strictly prohibited.
2.3. Use of the Service is prohibited in any country where the use, ownership, or trading of cryptocurrency, or the use of the Service, is forbidden by applicable law.
2.4. Cambio reserves the right to use various methods to prevent the use of the Service by Users from prohibited jurisdictions. You are to comply with this rule even if the methods to prevent the use of the Service from prohibited jurisdictions are ineffective or can be bypassed.
2.5. Independently of the above, and regardless of your location, every deposit and payout address is screened against sanctions lists on every swap. Where a match is found, funds are frozen pending compliance review and are not automatically returned. This is described further in Section 6 and in our AML Policy.
2.6. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service is lawful in the jurisdiction in which you are located. By using the Service you represent and warrant that doing so is lawful where you live, and that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any prohibited jurisdiction.
3. Nature of the Service
Cambio offers an exchange of digital assets. To make an exchange you create an order and send the input asset to an address generated specifically for that order; the output asset is then delivered to the destination address you specified, by Cambio or by the liquidity provider fulfilling your order as described in section 3.
The Service is non-custodial, which means that Cambio does not store your funds on deposits or balances. Cambio does not provide wallet accounts, stored balances, fiat on-ramps, fiat off-ramps, lending, staking, or yield-bearing products, and is not a bank, broker-dealer, or deposit-taking institution.
Cambio is software. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any swap for your circumstances.
4. Orders, Quotes, and Settlement
When you submit a swap intent through the Service, Cambio compares live quotes from the instant-exchange providers it integrates, for your exact amount, and ranks them on the amount actually delivered to you after the destination network fee. Cambio quotes a SINGLE rate — there is no fixed-rate versus floating-rate choice. The quoted rate is held for the window shown in the interface and is recalculated if your deposit confirms after that window expires.
You confirm the swap by transmitting the deposit amount to the one-time deposit address shown for your order. On most orders that address belongs to the liquidity provider fulfilling the swap rather than to Cambio, and that provider releases the payout to the destination address you specified once your deposit confirms on-chain at the minimum required confirmations. On corridors Cambio fulfils from its own reserves, the address belongs to Cambio and Cambio pays out. Either way Cambio does not hold your funds on deposits or balances, and the interface names who holds them for your order before you send.
Underpayments below the minimum amount may result in (a) a top-up offer at the locked rate, (b) a recalculated payout at the actual deposited amount, or (c) a refund to the sender wallet, less network fees. Overpayments above the maximum amount may trigger an automatic refund of the excess. Deposits sent to an incorrect network are recoverable only where the source chain permits; you are solely responsible for verifying the destination network before sending.
5. Fees and Pricing
On a swap Cambio fills itself, Cambio charges a commission of 0.38%, included in the quoted rate, plus the network withdrawal fee declared on the quote before you commit. On a swap filled by another exchange shown in the live comparison, that exchange's own price applies; that exchange pays Cambio — a share of its own fee, or a small partner fee already included in the rate it quotes — and nothing is added after the quote. There are no platform fees, no membership tiers, no gas markups, and no token issuance.
Network fees (gas, mining fees) on the source chain are paid by you to the network and are outside Cambio's control. Network fees on the destination chain (for the payout transaction) are absorbed by Cambio and already reflected in the quoted rate.
6. KYC and AML
Cambio does not require identity verification (KYC) as a routine condition of using the Service. The source (deposit) and destination (payout) wallet addresses are screened on every swap against a sanctions list.
In exceptional cases — including but not limited to a sanctions-list match, a wallet-screening risk hit, an inability to verify the source of funds, or any indication that the funds in question are clearly related to criminal activity — Cambio may, at its sole discretion, pause the swap and request supplementary information (such as source-of-funds documentation or a basic identity verification). Cambio applies this only to the specific swap in question.
If the requested information is not provided or does not satisfy Cambio's compliance obligations, the deposit will be returned to the originating wallet, less applicable network fees. You will not be penalised for declining a review request; the swap simply will not be completed.
See our AML Policy for further detail on screening procedures and your rights.

9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cambio Technologies, S.A., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates the most recent version.
