Are you talking to the real Cambio?
Crypto attracts impersonators. This page is the canonical list of every official Cambio channel — bookmark it, and verify any inbound contact against this list first.
Official handles
Cambio communicates ONLY through these channels. Anything else claiming to be Cambio is fake.
What Cambio will NEVER do
- DM you first asking to "verify your wallet" — we have no signup, no wallets to verify.
- Ask for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet password — ever, by anyone claiming to be Cambio.
- Offer to "recover lost funds" for a fee — funds-recovery scams are the #1 crypto fraud.
- Run an airdrop, token sale, or pre-sale — we have no token and will never issue one.
- Send you a Telegram DM from a personal-looking account (e.g. @cambio_support or @cambio_help).
- Ask you to send funds to a "verification address" — there is no such thing.
How to verify the bot is real
- Check the bot's username — the only official one is @cambio_support_bot. Telegram usernames are unique; an exact match is the only test.
- Send
/securityto the bot — it should reply with this page's URL and the same handles list above. - Once we're Telegram-verified (planned for shortly after the September 1, 2026 launch), the bot and channel will both display the blue verification check next to their name. Before that: rely on the exact-username match.
If you've been scammed
We're sorry — funds sent to scammers are usually unrecoverable. Cambio can't reverse on-chain transactions. But please:
- Report the scammer on Telegram (long-press their message → Report).
- Email security@cambio.one with the scammer's handle so we can add it to our blocklist and warn other users.
- Do NOT pay anyone promising to recover the funds. That's the second scam.
