The one figure every exchange states openly

Every exchange publishes a commission. Ours is the lowest of them.

The commission is the one part of a swap that can be compared without an argument, because every venue states its own. Cambio charges 0.38%. The field publishes 0.40–0.50%. The rest — the rate itself, and the network fee on the way out — is decided per corridor and per amount, which is why the panel on every quote is live and this page is not.

The panel on a swap does not rank on commission. It ranks on the amount that arrives after every fee, for your exact amount, at the moment you ask — and a lower commission usually wins and sometimes does not. When it does not, you see the exchange that did, at its true rank, and you can take it. The order then runs at that exchange’s own price; what the exchange pays Cambio is already inside that price, and nothing is added after the quote.

We will not print a number under an exchange’s name that they did not publish themselves, and we do not label anything on this page live. The live table is on the quote.

Cambio’s commission is CAMBIO_COMMISSION_PCT in the compare-brand data, the same number the quote engine charges on the swaps we fill ourselves. Which exchanges are observed comes from the same file’s tier note: only the exchanges in the first group above are carried by the exchanger directory our probe reads.
